Your condescending and judgmental gaze
Persecutes many with no firm evidence
You see them
You dont know them but your mind
Produces a vast list of presumptions of them
These come their appearance alone
Based on their clothing choice and make-up style,
Ethnic and religion, age and gender
With this narrow thought process and stares
That people persecute those who are different
No matter who you are
You discriminate everyone and anyone in someway
People have prejudice toward one another
Either secretly or openly displayed
They still linger in the air even though theyre gone
Who are you to be judge and jury
Of your peers
So what if theyre different in appearance or
In hobbies or interests
Doesnt mean you have the right to judge
Outwardly we maybe different but internally similar
